How to Exit the Matrix

“How in the hell could a person enjoy being awakened at 6:30 a.m. by an alarm clock, leap out of bed, dress, force-feed, shit, piss, brush teeth and hair, and fight traffic to get to a place where essentially you made lots of money for somebody else and were asked to be grateful for the opportunity to do so?” -Charles Bukowski

Really take a moment to think of the peculiar ways that most of us humans live.

They force themselves to be jarred awake by the screaming siren we call an alarm clock instead of rising when their body is done repairing itself from the actions of the previous day. They then get dressed in constrictive clothing instead of attire that consists of free-flowing and airily expansive material. Next on the agenda, they drive their car for an hour in bumper-to-bumper traffic to sit and painstakingly work, usually at a job that they have brainwashed themselves or have been brainwashed by others to enact even though it makes them unhappy, sick and empty as a bass drum. Eight insubstantial hours later they get back in that same tin can and wind up in the exact gridlock that they experienced earlier in the day. They arrive to a dreary and unimaginative domicile only to stuff their already toxic guts with food and alcohol that help to numb themselves even deeper, while watching mindless and frivolous TV only to pass out, aka sleep,  just to repeat the same exact routine the following day for the rest of their lives.

Sounds like a fucking nightmare…but wait. It isn’t. It’s life as we know it.

We have been fed a massive lie that says that this is the way it is, it always has been, it always will be, so suck it up buttercup. There is nothing healthy, fulfilling and normal about this faux reality. The truth is that life can be strangely beautiful, overwhelmingly fulfilling and intensely joyful if we break out of the program and escape the prison we are all unknowingly living in.

Ancestral tradition, hypnotic habits and a dogmatic belief system has turned us all into mindless zombies who receive no joy out of life whatsoever and we just continue to follow some predetermined path that has been handed to us from our caregivers, family members, teachers, friends and society as a whole because, hey…they said so.

This way of life, and I use those words loosely, is what many spiritualists and futuristic teachers call the “Matrix.”

You may be getting pictures in your mind right now of Keanu Reeves turning himself into a Slinky to dodge bullets in the 1999 cyberpunk sub-genre of science fiction movie. If you have watched the Matrix Trilogy, (and if you haven’t I suggest you make it your homework this week), you will know that Neo, in a nutshell, decides to take the red pill and soon realizes that he along with everyone else he has ever known in his lifetime are plugged into a computer program and that life is actually a simulated virtual reality ran by secret agents called Smiths who can morph into whatever person they want to be to push their agenda and indoctrinate their narrative.

In the movie these shapeshifting agents hunt the “woke” people to rid the Matrix of anyone that may possibly wake others up. Sound familiar?

I am not here to give you a movie review like a better looking and more feminine Siskel and Ebert. I am here to tell you that you and I, WE can choose to break out of this holographic prison if we gather enough strength, courage and determination to get off the merry-go-round we have been thrown onto and awaken to the fact that we can truly transform the way we are living.

If you are ready then please keep reading. If not, take the blue pill and go back to sleep.

When we were born, we were all violently plunged into the Matrix. We are led to believe that we live in a solid, physical and material world. We believe in the concept of time, past, present and future. We believe that everything is random and that in all of this chaos that there is no unity.  We believe in duality. Good versus evil. Light versus dark. Heaven and Hell. But this is a three-dimensional construct.

Three dimensional acceptance is actually what is keeping us in the Matrix. It is keeping us small. It is keeping us weak. It is keeping us dead. As long as we believe in duality none of us here can experience life the way that the Universe and God intended it to be.

Like it says in the Bible, Luke 17: 20-21, “And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation. Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”

That is right folks, you are the creator of heaven and you are the creator of hell. How do you desire your life to be? How much happiness can you experience while you are here? If life is a simulation, like a computer game of sorts, then why not be triumphant and rescue the princess? That princess is you, my beloved.

Ok, so here is where I am going to drop some real truth bombs. The focus of escaping the Matrix this week is about getting away from one of the Matrix’s biggest fake constructs. Social Media.

Why is social media so harmful you ask? Well, I am about to tell you.

Social media creates a false reality

Everyone I know including myself selectively posts only their “highlight reels.” This is a filtered sterilization and we tend to forget this while mindlessly scrolling. In turn, many of us can fall into the depths of despair when we cannot seem to keep up with the alleged and supposed lives of our so-called “friends.”

Social media promotes echo chambers

The whacked out nature of social media means you can follow all the people you like and ignore the ones you do not. Thus, everyone ends up parroting the same ideas back and forth to each other. This leads to intolerance and small-mindedness. I don’t know if you have noticed, but we are all experiencing more and more of those two aspects daily. Coincidence? I think not.

Social media encourages narcissism

Waiting for likes, shares and comments can swallow you up like a tidal wave of stimulus and reward. You end up like a rat in a Skinner Box and you don’t even realize it. When posting is more about your own satisfaction and gratification, this ends up being the breeding ground for narcissistic fuck faces. Posting should be to serve, love and provide value. Not brag, gloat and shame.

Social media is a privacy risk

Just scrolling through one’s social media feed you can learn a lot about that person. Like where they live. Where they are vacationing. Who their children are and so on. This is not only scary but can be a huge safety risk. In worse case scenarios, some people will make it their life’s aim to dox you, shame you, stalk you, hack you or my  all time favorite, “cancel” you.

Social media sucks up so much precious time

You go on Tik Tok just to watch a couple of cute puppy videos and then all of a sudden, three hours later you are knee deep in the dark web. Could you imagine the quality of your life if you took those moments and spent them on a creativity hobby, something artistic, volunteering or personal growth?

OK, so now that I exposed those truths about social media and its link to the prison we are all living in, I want to talk about my promise to you. Every week for the next few weeks we will be going into a very deep dive on all the lies we have been told and how to rewrite the story of the rest of your newly awakened life in the fifth dimensional consciousness.

Do you want to know exactly HOW to start the deprogramming of the 3-D Matrix reality? Limit or remove yourself from social media.

If the sentence above just made your butt cheeks clench then you probably need a social media detox more than anyone.

Remember that technology is here to serve us. It is not here for us to serve it.

We have become slaves to the very thing that was supposed to be here to help us express ourselves and liberate our thoughts and voices.

The last quarter of 2020 I hit a wall and I hit it hard. I was so exhausted from showing up everyday. Constantly posting, creating content, recording inspirational videos, checking all of my social media outlets, responding back to direct messages on Instagram, Facebook private messages , emails, comments on all of my pages both personal and business. It would take hours of my day just in those tasks. Never mind the excessive scrolling and picking up my phone about 500 times a day like a drug addict searching for their next fix. I was like feeding a beast that was never satiated. I decided it was time to go rogue and if I wasn’t happy performing at this level of connectedness, then I was the only one who had the power to save myself.

Here is how I did it and how if you are ready to change your life, do it too:

  1. Deactivate all of your accounts
  2. Tell everyone who is closest to you about it
  3. Uninstall all social media apps
  4. Block all social media sites
  5. Replace social media with another activity

Are you ready to take the plunge and disconnect yourself from the Matrix but are afraid that especially in these lonesome times because of the Pandemic that you will go into an even deeper hole of loneliness?

Well, I am here to give you an unbridled and restorative alternative. My digital business manager Kym and I put our heads together a few months ago and came up with this idea of creating our own social media platform and making it actually social. We started our very own app and called it the Ambitchious Sisterhood through Mighty Networks. Now people from all over the world can choose to come onto our Ambitchioius Sisterhood Community feed and ask real questions about their spiritual awakenings and conscious living. They can meet other like-minded women from all over the world and forge real relationships. They can experience protocols, masterminds, book clubs and complimentary office hours with me. They can be invited to events where spiritual evolution and supportive community is our number one priority.

The can experience what it truly means to live an Ambitchious life.

I have been slowly moving away from social media and I have got to tell you: So far it has been liberating. No one can say hurtful things to me that makes me question myself on a daily basis. I don’t scroll only to see everyone’s scary political opinions anymore.

I control what I experience, read and encounter and who I choose to spend my time with being truly social and let me tell you… this is the way that life was supposed to be lived.

I am inviting you over to my app so that you too can experience the freedom and liberation it means to be off of social media that is controlling and censoring everything you do, say and think. Join Ambitchious HERE

I will leave you with this:

“You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill. You stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.”

-Morpheus

Stay Ambitchious,

Katie
